Usage of Nadan Neyy
- Cooking Medium: Due to its high smoke point (approx. 250°C), it is ideal for high-heat cooking, sautéing, and tempering spices, as it does not break down into free radicals easily.
- Daily Dietary Addition: It is often drizzled over hot rice, dal (lentils), roti, khichdi, or incorporated into sweets like ladoo and halwa.
- Health Remedy: Consumed with warm water or milk on an empty stomach to boost metabolism and aid digestion.
- Ayurvedic Applications: Used in therapies like Nasya (dropping into nostrils for cold) or oil pulling (swishing in the mouth).
